Welcome!
I am Co-Head of the Growth and Competition Policy Unit (ad interim) at Switzerland's State Secretariat for Economic Affairs, where I currently focus on competition topics. Recent responsibilities include setting up a state aid regime for Switzerland, developing a national supply chain strategy, and assessing the impact of the return to industrial policy. Previously, I was the Director for Data Forensics and a Member of the Executive Board at the St.Gallen Endowment for Prosperity through Trade, the home of the Global Trade Alert. I hold a Ph.D. in Economics and Finance (with honours) from the University of St.Gallen and am also a Research Fellow at the Swiss Institute for International Economics and Applied Economic Research. I have completed over a dozen projects for governments, corporate actors, and international organisations in trade policy questions. I also currently teach MBA students and the Introduction to Macroeconomics class at the University of St.Gallen.
